Things You Should Do After Launching Your First Website On Wix!

We've all heard the advice: do your research, write a killer tagline and make sure you launch on Wix.

But what if you're launching a site without any of those things? What if you're just starting up your website business and need some guidance?

I created a Wix website a few years ago and was getting the same questions in my head.

So I have got some great tips for you.

Here are the things I would recommend doing after launching (or updating) your site on Wix:

Track your site's performance:

Tracking your site's performance is a crucial step in the process of building a successful online business,

Even though you might be aware of this, chances are it still gets slipped shortly after you go through a 100 steps checklist while launching your site.

To do this, you'll need to install Google Analytics on your website and fill out all of its settings.

This tool can help you track how many visitors come to your website and what types of content they're viewing.

You can also see which pages are most popular, where users coming from (e.g., organic search results), what devices they are using when they visit, and so much more!

Installing Google Analytics on Wix takes just minutes—and it's free!

Learn to read your stats:

Stats are the numbers that tell you how many people are visiting your site, how long they stay on it, and what they do when they’re there.

They can be a useful tool in helping you track your progress and see where you need improvement.

  • What are stats?

Stats is short for statistics, which refers to numerical information about something (such as an event).

A stat is made up of two types: data points and metrics. Data points include raw numbers like pageviews or unique visitors; metrics show trends over time by giving us an idea of how our traffic has changed since we first started publishing content on Wix.

Update your site regularly.

After you've launched your site, it's important to keep it updated regularly.

This means that you'll want to make sure that the information on your site is current and up-to-date.

While this may sound like a no-brainer, many people neglect to update their websites because they think that there's nothing wrong with leaving things as they were for years or even months at a time—and sometimes even longer!

While this might seem like an easy fix (just change everything!), doing so could actually affect the overall quality of your website by making it look outdated and unprofessional over time.

You don't want to be known as someone who doesn't care about their work—so do whatever needs improving!

That was my case when I left my website alone for 1-2 months and saw how it hurt its ranking.

If possible, try not to change too much at once; otherwise, changes could become confusing and cause confusion among potential visitors who visit often enough that they're used to seeing certain things.

Every time they visit without needing any explanation or guidance from other users before proceeding further into their browsing experience based solely upon what's already there instead of trying something new which may lead them elsewhere entirely due to fear of being lost forever among all those complicated updates!

Be active on social media.

The best way to reach your followers is by posting regularly and sharing content that they will find useful.

Posting on social media is a great way to keep in touch with your followers, as well as share some of the best content you have created.

Posting regularly on social media helps build trust between yourself and those who follow you, which can lead them back over time when they need something from you again.

You should also use hashtags so others can find out about what type of content has been posted recently.

This will help increase engagement within each post by allowing people to easily share their own thoughts about it through their own accounts or other sites such as Twitter or Facebook!

Explore Wix features!

Now that you have your website up and running on Wix, it's time to explore some of the features available in the Wix App Market.

This is a great place to find templates that can help you improve your site by making it more user-friendly or mobile-friendly.

You can also use the Editor as a starting point for designing new pages or adding content.

The Editor gives users access to everything they need in order to customize their sites: text boxes, images and videos, forms, and even Ajax calls (if needed).

Once again though: these are just guidelines; make sure this tool doesn't get in the way of making something beautiful!

Creating a site in Wix: Keep the above in mind!

  • Keep your site up to date. This means that you should make sure that when you update or add new content on your site, it's done correctly. There are so many things that can go wrong here—including broken links and images—that if they happen on your page, people will be confused as to what's happening and why they're not seeing anything at all (which can lead them back over here!).
  • Social media is an important part of any marketing strategy for new businesses looking for customers online who may not know about their products yet but could still benefit from knowing more about them before deciding whether or not they want anything from them.

And that's pretty much it, I had a great time setting up my website using Wix (Wix is not sponsoring this) the tools that are listed are really useful for anyone to launch their sites in minutes.

So I hope you found this guide helpful and now I am curious what tips you would give to someone who is considering Wix to launch their first website.
