Things We Could Learn From Winnie-the-Pooh!
So wherever I am, there's always Pooh,
There's always Pooh and Me.
"What would I do?" I said to Pooh,
"If it wasn't for you," and Pooh said: "True”
Down in the Hundred Acre Wood amidst the green trees, and long grass and dense furze of the Ashdown Forest, you might find a ‘hunny pot’ or two, or a little house made of sticks, or a Heffalump trap and if you listen carefully you might hear a hum and if you follow the hum then the hum might lead to a bear and that bear might just be Winnie the Pooh.
A.A. Milne had no idea when he turned his little boy Robin’s favourite toy into a children’s character that he would become one of the most well-loved and recognised children’s characters in the world where he still makes friends with new generations of children (and adults!) more than a hundred years after his creation.
He might be a bear of very little brain, but he has words of wisdom for every occasion…
1. Be Magic
A.A.Milne wrote Winnie-the-Pooh for his young son, Christopher Robin. The books were then illustrated in a beautiful way by E.H.Shepard, which made the books even more magical. They were made with love, care and attention to detail.
Imagine that your customer is someone you love...take a few steps backward...would you be satisfied with good? Or would you rather some magic!?
2. Have Fun! Bring happiness to your customers! What if your customer had a "magical experience" from first contact to completion?
3. Be Happy
The Pooh-books were favourites of Walt Disney's daughters and this inspired Disney to bring Pooh to film. In fact the Walt Disney Company acknowledged that the Bear of Very Little Brain had proven to be more popular than any other Disney character.
So, be more Pooh - be magic, have fun and be happy - your customers will love you!
