Innovation radar: Financial literacy for kids
Teaching children and teens how to manage their money is crucial, yet this type of practical teaching is not usually covered in the school curriculum. So, banks are doing it, and they're getting very creative with it, whether it's physical or distance learning courses, or giving children the opportunity to experiment with money management through programs and games. We took a look at the different financial literacy projects launched by the banks and had a lot of fun.

Banco Pichincha: building inclusion by empowering women entrepreneurs
On this International Women's Day, we have chosen to tell you more about one of the great innovative projects presented in the Qorus-Accenture Banking Innovation Portal. It is SER Impulso Mujer, a financial inclusion initiative launched in 2017 by Banco Pichincha that aims to address the unequal access to financial services between men and women in Ecuador and to capitalize on the market opportunity presented by women entrepreneurs.

Device as a service (DaaS) business model – implications for circular economy
Climate change requires a fast transformation towards a carbon-conscious economy as well as new consumption and production patterns. XaaS (everything as a service) models contribute to this transformation by creating true value for customers – with less material, waste, and operating costs. Why? Because XaaS models are by definition more demand-driven and customized to the customers’ actual needs, contrary to the traditional linear ‘take-make-dispose’ principle.
