Discussing employee performance is the most important thing that you should do frequently. Many things can happen in a year, in six months, or a week. Having regular interaction with employees asking about their performance and their well-being can make them feel like they are family.
Managers should opt for regular meetings at least once, in six months, that should talk about their goals and the obstacles they face.?

This will help you to understand and review the performance of your employees. This can help them improve their work. Moreover, it’s also crucial to guide them regularly. As a manager, you can talk about growth, areas of improvement, and all things that can be added to the organization.?

This will be clearing all the hurdles that would be blocking the way. Also, if the employees are working well, then mention it then and there so that they feel appreciated. Also, small meetings should be taken as a regular ritual that can help managers fill the gap. The meeting should be direct and should talk about improvements.?

Assist them with the goals which will work as a supporting asset. Set a track that can assist the employee to understand the goal. Also, make sure to set a goal at the beginning of their career path.?
Feedback?
Feedback helps employees gather information regarding their work. Gathering information can help your employee feel valued. Feedback will enhance them to collect more knowledge. While giving feedback, make sure, to be honest, and blunt. Give the employee an overall view of their performance, skills, development and opportunities.?
Also, while delivering feedback, be open to discussing both points of view and do not keep it one-sided.?
