To me, Marketing is any action that a company or organization does to gain the attention of the customers and then successfully convert them into a paid customer. But don’t take my word for it. Trust plays a big role for marketers when it comes to digital marketing. How does one build trust in their audience? By building a personal brand. Having a personal brand also establishes that the product or service you use or promote will also be trustworthy.?

The biggest mistake most marketers make is having a lack of patiences. Marketing might seem easy from the surface but it is rather complex when you get down to actually doing it. There is alot one needs to do and know before actually getting into it. To be a great marketer, one first needs to know exactly who their customers are and what they are looking for. A good marketer should make sure to do extensive research on their customer base and build several customer personas. There is alot one needs to know about their customer to make sure they give out the right message to the right people at the right time. Market research is the key to finding out the required information.?
That is what marketing is, getting the correct message to correct people at the correct time. For that to happen, the understanding of your customer and their needs and problems has to be very clear. The marketers should have an understanding of the market that they want to place the product in.?
After having a good idea of what the market, or your audience wants most people still get stuck with the content and reach nowhere. Just having the knowledge of your target customer can give the edge you need to gain their attention but without the correct message and proper channels, the audience will not be interested in the product.?
For example, one cannot reach a younger audience for trendy clothing items targeted for teenagers and young adults by facebook. They would have to use channels like instagram ads or search ads or lifestyle youtube ads.?
After putting your product out there, the biggest mistake a marketer can make is not give a proper way to land a conversion. If a person is looking at an instagram ad and is not sure of what the proper call to action is, the sale will not come through and the interested audience will not be converted into a paying customer. Having a proper call to action is essential.?
The last thing to do would be to monitor and analyze the results from the ads that are running. Monitors which type of ad strategies or types of content actually work is very important to keep increasing the engagement.?

Niche is the expertise or category in which your service or product falls into. Niche decides the market you will be dealing with and that market’s problems are your problems. If your product or services solve any of the problems then that will generate an audience.?
Content is the content that you create to create the awareness of your product/ brand/ services you provide. Catchy and good content is the smartest and easiest way to gauge an audience. If a brand is posting or creating content that is relevant and relatable to the audience or solves their problems and establishes a clear communication then the engagement will increase.?
Attention = Good content brings engagement and attention from the desired audience.?
Trust = A proper communication established by the brand through content that they are creating gains the audience’s trust for the brand and the product/services.?

This resulted in the smaller and middle level companies not getting enough attraction from audiences and eventually dying out if they didn't have the funding to keep them afloat.?

Posting ads or promotions of products or services on the internet in different websites started getting attention. Marketing took a completely different turn after that and digital marketing only kept getting more and more refined. After digital marketing came into the picture, the marketing industry made a huge turn.
