Get Down to the Nitty-Gritty: First off, if you really want your goal to have the strength of Thor’s hammer, you need to make it specific. "I want to get fit" just doesn’t cut it. What does “get fit” even mean? Are you signing up for a marathon, planning to do yoga every week, or just trying to lift your grocery bags without breaking a sweat? Nail down exactly what you want to achieve. Instead of saying, “I want to read more,” how about, “I will read one new book each month”? Boom! We’ve got a plan.
Keep Score & Celebrate: Now that we’ve decided what our shiny goals are, let’s put some numbers on them. We need to keep track of our journey, am I right? This is where the measurable part comes in. Think about how you’ll know when you’ve crushed it! If you’re aiming for that reading goal, track how many pages you read each week or just take a moment to bask in the glow of finishing a book. Whatever it is, make sure you can measure your progress. Plus, when you hit those little milestones, throw yourself a mini celebration! Dance party, anyone?
