Things I'm Grateful For: Family Visits

Living in Florida is such a blessing, but one thing I miss is my family and friends from PA. I've been blessed with a biological family as well as a foster family and they are both equally important in my life.

Back in August, I was given news that a family member was facing a crisis, so in October, I jumped at the opportunity to visit with both of my families.

Sometimes, I wish it was possible to split myself in two, so I could spend more time with everyone, but that's not how life works. Here's my foster mom, sister and brother-in-law. We were blessed with several hours to catch up and grab a meal before I had to leave.

What's your favorite thing about family? How long has it been since you reached out to them and just spent time?
