Things I'm Grateful For: Cousins

One of the joys of my life has been my cousins. We were best friends in the early years. Some of the fondest memories of my childhood include them.?Recently I was able to spend a month in?Pennsylvania, and?It was wonderful to have the opportunity to connect with some of them.?

My sister and I were able to meet them at a local restaurant, have a wonderful meal and talk about the "good old days". We shared a few laughs and sorrows, but the realization of the gift we had in each other over the years filled me with unspeakable joy. Even though we've led such diverse lives, we still have a deep connection of love that is not lessened by distance or time.?
