Things I Would Say If I Wasn't Afraid

There are a few things I would say if I wasn't afraid to publicly speak obvious truths.
I would say genocide is bad, and must stop or be stopped.
I would say ethnic cleansing is bad, and must stop or be stopped.
I would say apartheid is bad, and must stop or be stopped.
If there was a regime and a political philosophy that shamelessly committing these obscenities and claiming they represent a certain people, religion, culture, or race, and their regime and political philosophy are a core part of what it is to be part of this certain people, religion, culture, race, I would say this is one of the most insulting slanders of this people I've ever heard.
If there was a specific word used to describe the absurd lies, insults, bigotry, and violence that has been, and continues to be, directed at this certain people, religion, culture, race, and used to describe the people who commit these acts, I would say this is a perfect word to describe those committing these obscenities supposedly in their name.
It would also be a perfect word for those outside this group who claim opposition to this regime, to this political philosophy, and their obscene actions is somehow bigotry directed at this people, religion, culture, or race.
I might even say this is quite literally a blood libel against this people, religion, culture, or race.
If I knew something about the culture and religion of this people, I might point to core values they are rightly known for of questioning, reason, learning, and standing against injustice, and suggest the regime claiming to represent them and committing daily obscenities in their name is exactly what they could be expected to question and oppose.
If I know something about the history and present of this people, I might point out that many have indeed questioned and opposed this obscenity from the beginning and still question and oppose it today.
In fact, at certain times and places this questioning and opposition was the majority opinion amongst this people, religion, culture, or race.

And even more than this, the political philosophy and the regime committing obscenities has used extreme violence, including murder, from the very beginning to unsuccessfully try to stop this opposition, just as it uses extreme violence on those it attempts to ethnically cleanse.
If I know something about the history of my own people and the people of where I live, I might point out that this political philosophy and regime was directly modelled on the obscenities committed since centuries, and still committed today, by our regimes at far greater scales, and was and is directly supported by those regimes.
I might even point out that the individuals who provided this support at the beginning of this political philosophy and regime were openly and cartoonishly bigoted against the people, religion, culture, and race they were "supporting" for their own venal reasons.
I might even point out that today the biggest group of people supporting this political philosophy and regime committing daily obscenities is people who have a background more like my own (white, European, Christian), and often their reasons are openly and cartoonishly bigoted against the people, religion, culture, and race they are "supporting" for their own venal reasons.
I might point out that these regimes in my birth and home countries also today and in the past use extreme violence from their gangs of armed unaccountable thugs against their own people who oppose all these obscenities, which includes many of the people, religion, culture, or race who are blood libelled that these obscenities are in any way done in their name.
If the people who are daily being dehumanised by the paid liars and useful fools of all these regimes, the people who are the targets of these obscenities aimed at wiping them from the records of humanity, if these people have a slogan calling for all people living on the territory controlled by the regime committing these obscenities to be free, I would of course say yes, this!
If the people who are daily being dehumanised by the mouthpieces and useful fools of all these regimes, and who are the targets of these obscenities aimed at wiping them from the records of humanity, have a slogan calling for the immediate end of the obscenities committed by this regime, I would of course say yes, this!
And if people absurdly tried to claim these extremely reasonable and just requests were somehow in fact threats to commit similar obscenities against a certain people, religion, culture, or race, I would take their obvious attempts to deny, attack, reverse victim and oppressor as the bad faith nonsense it clearly is.
And if saying these things is gets people who are clearly not "completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies, but are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since they believe in words "- if saying these things get such people to call me or my words bigotry against a certain people, religion, culture, or race, and gets such people to try to enact consequences that such bigotry merits when real, well then I might be afraid to say these things. Which is of course the point.
