Things I Murmur At Times/ Relationship Manager

You have to accept the changes around you as you grow and also behave according to your age. You have to mature from your prime to a grown up adult and later to a husband ( or wife) , father or mother to take up higher responsibilities in your life’s journey. At times, we tend to over stay in our childhood or adulthood and completely forget higher or more pressing responsibilities that come in our way as we go along.

There are also people who regret living a good childhood or adulthood and try to make up for the lost time during the later part of life without accepting the change. I remember a married friend who often used to visit his bachelor friends’ apartment just to have fun with them because he always lived in a joint family system where he never got a chance to step out in the night or stay out with friends all through the night. As a result , his time for the new family and kids reduced to that extent.

Frankly, there is no end to human pleasures, wants or ambitions. The more you achieve (take for example fame) , the more you want it. The more you get it, the more you yarn for it. It is like a greed to get something , achieve something or prove something.

A relationship requires time. It requires both person’s time. The choice is yours whether you want to plunge into the rat race and climb a greed ladder or strike a balance in life whether it’s about pleasures or career.

As we grow, our life also travel through various stages and throws up newer challenges, which need newer dexterity to tackle them. I must tell you that relationships are very delicate and you should know what to say when and when to say what. Many relationships crumble because both the partners fail to understand each other. We have to respect the santity of a relationship whether it's about friendship, companionship, partnership or blood relationships. Always remember what is wrong in a relationship is a wrong to a relationship.

~Henry Winkler
