Things I learned from my wife!

It is an extremely personal post to begin with, but I realized we don’t appreciate the role of women in our lives as much. So, a shout out to Venus Joshi, my childhood friend turned my wife turned my partner in the biggest project of our lives- raising our daughter Ekaa.

On this very special day of yours (your birthday), I thank you for not only being you but also teaching me so many lessons, some of which I am listing below:

1.      I will never be able to match your energy levels, and you taught me that it is ok. For a team to excel you need diversity

2.      Good things take time. The way you relate with both families (mine and yours) is unmatchable. I have realized through you, that relations of all things, need investment- emotional, time, energy. Those built impatiently crumble as quickly as they are forged

3.      Multi-tasking is not everybody`s forte and that is ok too. You have been amazing – be it managing hospital appointments of my parents, home, office and friends. You have excelled in managing everything together. And here I was, trying to play a catch-up game forever. I tried and then gave up. And that really and truly makes you the CEO of our lives

4.      Living the life – In spite of every difficult situation that the life has thrown at us, you have made sure, we never stopped stealing the moments for us, the ones that now form the most beautiful memories of our lives

There are a trillion other things I can count, but then that`s who you are. Everybody`s VJ!!!
