I recall a Zoom Call with a prospect who was sobbing. She was completely overwhelmed by funnels, autoresponders, mailing copy, marketing plans and the list of things to be done, was just too big, too overwhelming, and she didn't know where to start. She needed help like many people who want to plan, document, execute, automate or simplify their marketing approach.
Addressing your Marketing and Marketing Technology is like eating an elephant - Inch by Inch it becomes a cinch ;) And if they were an Olympic event they'd be a marathon and not the 100m sprint. Far too many suffer from analysis paralysis or simply dont know where to start. In this week's Issue I want to share some of the resources we make available to help you plan, document, execute and automate your marketing strategy.
In this issue, I want to share hints, tips, tools and resources to help you generate backlinks and traffic,signups and registrations, scheduling appointments, closing the sale and automating the whole process. I also want to help ensure you're enjoying meaningful work and if you're pondering a new business name, to help with that too...
But First, 7 Tips For Becoming a h@ppeneur?
For me, there are 3 types of individuals online…
Here are 7 tips for becoming a h@ppeneur? and attracting more visitors to your website, and landing page and to keep you on point, on form and on fire...
1.?Know Your Market
Do you know whether your market is growing, declining, or remaining stagnant? Do you know how many prospective clients or customers you have in your local area? Do you know where they congregate online? The quicker you can find this out and take action, then the quicker you are to generating the leads, prospects, and sales you want.
Make a list of all the different platforms, channels, forums, groups, and websites that your target market visit each day.
2. Know Your Message
Do you know the needs, pains, and frustrations of your target market? Do you have a collection of headlines, ads, sales pages, emails, video sales letters and webinar scripts to qualify and engage your target audience? Your prospective customers are begging to be led, helped, and guided from where there are to where they want to be. Address their doubts, concerns and beliefs and reinforce your brand promise in your message to instil confidence and persuade them to take action.
Make a list of all problems, pains, needs and frustrations your customers have.?More importantly, make a list of features and benefits you, your products, services, and solutions offer to fix, remedy, and address those challenges.
3. Know Your Lead Sources
What type of leads do you require? B2B or B2C? What is your current cost per lead or cost per sale? Which lead source gives you the lowest cost per lead and best quality of lead? Do you know? Is it advertising, PPC, email marketing, social networking, webinar marketing or video marketing? Have you tested different approaches to confirm the best approach for you? Your prospective customers have different communication styles and information needs so your message and where you share that message is vital.
Make a list of your best lead sources and how much it is costing you per lead and per sale via each channel.?Make a note of how much?????you can sensibly afford to invest in marketing for the next 90 days.
?4. Know Your Sales Process & automate it.
How many steps do you have in your sales process? Do you know? Go on write them down. How many steps are involved from sending out your first marketing message to banking the cash from a sale. More importantly what you want your prospect to do at each stage of your process and how you can automate this nurture sequence.
Write down how many steps you think you have in your sales process and what written communication you send or present to potential customers to persuade them to go to the next stage.?More importantly, write down what Call to Action (CTA) you want them to take at each stage and how you will automate it.
5. Be Ready to Change & Take Action
Do you make things happen, Watch things happen or want to keep wondering why your competitors are selling more and making more money online than you? One thing is for sure, if you continue to do what you've always done and not address the 4 previous points, you will continue to get what you've always had unless you are prepared to change and take action. Become a h@ppeneur and start integrating the changes you need to make with your marketing over the next 90 days. In short, be the change you want to experience online. Integrate a proactive, interactive, and responsive attraction strategy into your marketing.
Make a list of ways you will be proactive, interactive, and responsive online.?Think about a posting schedule, your content strategy, and the different ways you will educate and help your target audience online.
?6. Have a written plan of action to follow and AUTOMATE it
A Dream with a Date Becomes a Goal. A Goal Broken Down into Steps Becomes a Plan. A Plan That Is Actioned Becomes a Reality. To Turn Your Dreams into a Reality - Plan the work and work the plan. Make a list of the available human, technical and financial resources you have available each month for implementing and executing a new customer journey.?Think about what you need and how much you are currently investing.?How can you save money and increase ROI?
?7. Have an excellent support infrastructure and framework
Many customers do not have access to the necessary support infrastructure they need for themselves to ensure they are making progress with the products, services, or solutions they have purchased or invested in. Many struggle and often, fail to recoup their investment or achieve the satisfaction they crave simply because of a lack of professional, caring, and practical help by phone, email, zoom, skype, messenger, a knowledge base, private forum, or on-site visit. Many are simply left to stumble around in the dark, quickly becoming disillusioned, demotivated and very often change supplier quickly.
?Write down all the different ways you offer customer support and excellent customer service to go the extra mile on behalf of your customers.
