The Things that give us a False Sense of Security

There are lots of things that give us a false sense of security. My car and the tires on it make it run like a dream in the snow. I feel very confident in being able to go anywhere at any time with no worries... other than other bad drivers.
PSA : Here are a few other things that could give you a false sense of security and you'll want to address them before it to late!!!
?? "I have life insurance thru work."
BUT do you know how much? Is it enough? Will you get to keep it if you leave your job?
Most people are GROSSLY underinsured.
You are worth way MORE than you think... have a professional assess your worth ???♀????♀?.
?? " I have health insurance. It will take care of everything." NOPE! Not even close... you have a deductible, loss of work, oh and they ONLY use people and things that are covered on your plan right??? WRONG! It only pays for the DR.
?? "I have disability insurance thru work."
Cool... awesome... CAN YOU LIVE ON ONLY AT MOST 60% of your income while having increased expenses from medical bills?
?? "I have a 401k with a match at work."
Free Money... awesome... but what if I could show you the numbers where TAX FREE RETIREMENT outperforms 401k match All. Day. Long. It's just money.. it's just math.
??So, let me ask you this... when was the last time your employer/HR dept sat down with you to assess your goals/desires/situation to make sure you were on track? ??
