Things to do in Rwanda

This ‘Land of a Thousand Hills’ is located in the Great Lakes Region of the East Africa and is home to an abundance of wildlife. The terrain mostly consists of grassy uplands and gently rolling green hills. It has a temperate tropical highland climate, however, with lower temperatures due to its high altitude.
Rwanda offers tourists a journey of its own kind. It is the home to one third of the world remaining Mountain Gorillas, exotic Africa’s birds  species, several species of primates, Volcano Mountains, a game reserve, resorts and islands on the expansive Lake Kivu, graceful dancers, artistic crafts and also friendly people.
As in all African countries, Rwanda has a rich tradition of celebrations involving music and dance. A window on Rwanda’s history is provided by numerous Memorial sites and Museums preserved around the country.
