Things are not always what they seem...
Consider this in your judgment calls and decision making processes....Especially in Politics, but also in life, people tell their version of the "facts", some with malice, others not. The Media, in particular, is often biased and relays things out of context. Just as "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". "truth" is in the perception of the receiver. A true story to share...A little girl was distraught by her parents not getting along. She came home from school one day to find that her treasured, perfectly healthy cat had been euthanized. Her mother said her father did this. Fifty years later, long after her relationship with her father was destroyed, the truth came out. It was her mother who did it to turn her against her father. Unfortunately her father passed 20 yrs prior with no closure. Lesson to be learned, be a "critical thinker", don't assume, perform due dilgence. Otherwise, you could end up living a very unhappy, lonely life.
