Things are allways changing

Good day to you all!

The big hiking expedition is in a week and I’m so excited! I remember the week before our last hiking trip. I was so nervous! I had no idea what to expect. We left from Zagreb and made our way to Samobor, in our brand new hiking boots. We knew we weren’t supposed to hike in brand new hiking boots, we needed to break them in first. But we really didn’t have time to waste! I landed in Zagreb from New Zealand, and then we had 4 days to plan for the hike! Most of that planning was buying gear. We learned our lesson the hard way of course. But we came prepared with baby powder and band-aids, and thank god too.

When I think about how far we’ve come since that first day, mistakes and achievements alike, my mind is blown. We had so many amazing things happen to us on our last trip, and every day was a new story! I think that’s the thing I’m most excited for. The new stories we’re going to have after this trip, and the new people we’re going to meet on this adventure. I’ll try my best to keep writing every Sunday while we’re hiking and keep everyone updated on the amazing stories I’m sure we’re going to have. For those of you joining us, I absolutely cannot wait for you to be a part of those stories.
