There is no such thing as perfect timing

Here’s what I’ve figured out…people who accomplish extraordinary things are NOT different than anyone else. They aren’t any different than you.

These people have simply understood the power and truth of what I’m sharing with you today…

Readiness, the idea that you must be ready before you start something, is the enemy of progress.

Trust me… You are never going to be ready.

“Perfect timing” is an ego construct that keeps us committed to the status quo. Since the perfect time never arrives, we don’t ever begin.

Waiting to be “ready” unnecessarily delays the big work you are here to do.

In fact, people who accomplish extraordinary things do so because they start.

They start NOW. Before they are ready…before they have the resources…before they have the support.

I remember speaking to a very famous author once, whose book had suddenly become the book that everyone was talking about…

“Wow,” I said, “you’ve become famous overnight!” (I said it with a twinkle in my eye, because I knew the truth.)

“Yup,” he said… “Overnight success, 10 years in the making.”

He had started writing 10 years before. With no promise of success. No promise that anyone would hear about his book, let alone read it. He simply began. Out of faith and commitment.

Remember…

The YES is your commitment to taking imperfect action. It’s the YES you give to the Universe when you take action. The YES is the Universe’s sign to start sending you the resources you need.

This is my invitation:

Do not wait for the resources to be there, don’t wait for “perfect timing” that will never arrive, don’t wait for things to be different…

…just start.

Say yes to that thing right now, with faith and trust that everything you need will reveal itself as you need it.

One small leap of faith at a time.
