There is no such thing as a bad teacher.

There is no such thing as a bad teacher.

Have you ever gone to a training session where you said- "This is terrible. Why am I even here?"

Over the years- I've had a few.

A few weeks ago, my co-worker and I had a fun presentation prepared for a company. We got there early, so we were able to catch the tail end of the presenter before us.

The guy selling paint without a doubt made me a better presenter. It made me a better connector. It made me have stronger convictions and belief into the way I currently do things.

And even more so- I will always remember the paint guy's presentation because it triggered a negative emotional response within me.

I feel many of us have had these moments in our life where observing the wrong way of how to do something actually triggered true learning. This is why I truly believe there no bad teachers if we keep our eyes open for the real lesson.

Lets get into action:

Action Step:

  1. Who was the worst trainer you've ever listened to? Why were they the worst? What did you actually learn? I'd love for you to share in the comments the real lessons learned!
