Thine Eye Diffused a Quick'ning Ray

"I give consultation for those who wish to work and do business in Korea. I am an experienced language teacher, youth worker, overseas salesperson in lighting and life assurance (fee negotiable).”
There is a famous old hymn written by the English Methodist song writer Charles Wesley called, "And Can It Be?" In the hymn, there is a line referring to the resurrecting power of God's eyes that diffuse a ray of "Quick'ning" light. It's very powerful imagery, yet trying to imagine that is made easier by our access to light, both natural and artificial.
One word from the hymn is diffuse. This word is not commonly used these days, except perhaps in the lighting field. In fact, one of our own products called L2 uses our infinity diffuser to decrease direct light and glare.
L2 Infinity
Our L2 Infinity is something we have used in a number of our indoor office projects. In fact, the updated version is set to be released some time before the end of the year, but because there isn't much literature out yet, I will focus on our original version.
You can see above that the style of lighting is pendant, but we also have a recessed and mounted version. The fixture above has a diffuser, but it can also be installed without one. The lighting is a downlight, yet, it also have an uplight. In fact, the latest edition can have an RGBW uplight with a white dowlight, especially effective for certain scenes, and spaces in the modern offices.
The Infinity Diffuser
Our Infinity Diffuser has a number of unique characteristics. Firstly, the diffuser comes in a role, and can be rolled out along the fixture in a way that no light can spill out through gaps. The help with this, the product is made from a flexible polycarbonate, and is designed in such a way so that different types of optics can be achieved. These I will discuss below. One of the other features is the maximum length is 50 metres. That is a great feat for this kind of diffuser. Reflectors are also available, and are made from aluminium and polyethylene terephthalate.

There are four types of diffusers; opal, glare control, batwing and asymmetric. I have attached the photometric curves above.
Samsung Plaza
The above image is the Samsung Plaza, and you an see that the L2 Infinity is quite long. Thanks to the diffuser, we are able to get an even diffusion of light along the path of the fixtures.
