They’ve got it covered..Ohio Univeristy alumni photograph DNC Convention in Chicago
After covering the 2024 Paris Olympics, veteran photographer Frank Franklin II of The Associated Press traveled to Chicago for the Democratic National Convention (August 19-22), seven times zones from Paris.

The Washington Post’s coverage of the DNC Convention included a lengthy article published August 18: “Black female pioneers in politics reflect on Harris’s nomination.” ?It featured McGarvey’s photo of Jennette Bradley who served as lieutenant governor of Ohio from 2003 to 2005 and Ohio state treasurer from 2005 to 2007.
The New York Times’ convention highlights of Day 2 led with McGarvey’s photo of former President Barack Obama addressing delegates at the United Center.
