Let’s take a break from business for a second to celebrate the sheer glory of last weekend’s World cup matchups. Starting off with the bitter-sweetness of Morocco being the first Arab/African nation to qualify for the semi-finals, but also knowing that Cristiano Ronaldo will never add the world cup to his trophy cabinet.?

Second, there should be the option to just forfeit a match if you’re facing Croatia in a penalty shootout. Poor Brazil. Third, we’re somehow all okay with injury time being 10-minutes-long during Argentina’s match. And, last, but most certainly not least, it’s not going home, THEY ARE!

Tomorrow, Tuesday the 13th will be another teeth-grinder. It’s sad enough that Ronaldo’s not getting the one trophy he doesn’t already brandish. Messi most definitely deserves it, and only time will tell what happens.?

Whatever your take is on the biggest sporting event in the world, it has been nothing short of exciting. Plus, seeing Moroccan players hug and bring their mothers onto the pitch was just a serious heart-warmer.??
