Therma-Stor Invests in Employee Education

From advanced degrees to certifications, Therma-Stor’s Employee Education Program gives employees the opportunity to expand their education and explore new career paths. “Whether our employees are interested in pursuing a college degree for the first time, an advanced degree, or certification programs, we want to support employees that are willing to invest in themselves and their careers,” said Kait Rogstad, Director, Human Resources at Therma-Stor.

For many of the roles at Therma-Stor, educational experience is not a prerequisite. “We are looking for the right people to work here, not check a box around education,” said Kait. “Going to college after high school isn’t right for everyone. We are looking for people that we can train and support as they grow in their careers.”

Bethany Gerber has been with Therma-Stor for five years, most recently as supply chain manager for Quest. After a career in customer service, she considered going back to school for a business degree. With the Therma-Stor employee education program, Bethany is the first person in her family to graduate from college.?

“Without ThermaStor, I would not have gone back to school,” said Bethany. “I have worked hard for everything I have achieved in life and that includes paying my entire way through college. My career had come to crossroads, and the support I received from ThermaStor is the reason I have grown so much.”

Bethany began her working on her bachelor’s degree in the fall of 2019. Within the first year, she had her daughter and the COVID-19 pandemic hit. In May 2022, Bethany finished her degree and graduated.

“Throughout it all, Therma-Stor has always been supportive, and I truly know that here, family comes first,” said Bethany. “I don’t think that younger me would have taken advantage of this program. I want my daughter to see that she can be successful and go back to school at any time.”??
