There’s summit about Snap Fitness….

Last week saw us wrap up Snap Fitness’ second summit of the year, with our franchisees and Snap Fitness EMEA team coming together in Windsor, London, to learn, connect, have fun and ultimately grow our collective business as #oneteam.?

It was inspiring to see our franchisees, club teams, partners, suppliers & Masters from across EMEA come together, each contributing to the success that defines Snap Fitness.

We've achieved a great deal already and thanks to Kevin Yates and his team –?I’m sure everyone left feeling motivated and inspired by the vast opportunities that lie ahead.?

The EMEA summit followed an equally brilliant summit in Phoenix, Arizona, a couple of weeks ago thanks to Brian Tietz . A huge thank you to the entire Lift Brands team for pulling together such amazing events - if these past two are anything to go by, our third and final one on Australia’s Gold Coast with Chris Caldwell next week will be just as incredible.?

I’d also like to add a special mention here for our brilliant supplier partners and sponsors and of course a huge congratulations to all of our award nominees and winners! These team members really are the lifeblood of the Snap brand.?

In other news….?

IFA report – fitness among sectors geared for franchise growth ??

The International Franchise Association (IFA) recently published its annual Economic Outlook report –?which charts the franchise industry's performance in the US over the past year and also offers a view of the economic outlook for the next twelve months.

The report shows that, while 2023 was a year of economic uncertainty, the franchise industry growth exceeded all predictions, with the number of franchised establishments increasing by 2.2% – compared to the predicted 1.9% increase.

There is further good news for our sector too –?a key prediction of the 2024 report is that personal services (such as beauty, health and fitness, sports and travel) and quick-service restaurants will experience stronger growth than other industries over the next year. In fact, our sector is projected to be the growth leader, with a 3% predicted growth.

We are definitely seeing this across our Lift Brands portfolio. Franchising is thriving and we are registering a huge amount of interest in people –?from both experienced franchisees and young entrepreneurs.??

Mental Health Awareness Month partnerships ????

May is Mental Health Awareness month, a truly important subject to all of us here at Snap Fitness.

As a brand dedicated to lifting moods and helping people feel fantastic through fitness, I’m proud to announce our latest partnerships with the National Alliance on Mental Illness ( NAMI ) and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).?

From May 1 - 14, Snap Fitness will donate $1 to NAMI and CMHA for every new member that joins one of our gyms as we continue to try and support people affected by mental illness.

A big shoutout to the EMEA team who have raised over ￡35,000 for the Mental Health Foundation over the past 12+ months. And a special mention to members of the HQ team who are embarking on a 29km walk to help raise further funds - good luck! A fantastic achievement by all.

Snap Fitness lands in Meadowbank, New South Wales! ??

It’s club number 245 in Australia for Snap Fitness, and two for our brilliant franchisees Dave, Gretta and Tony!

This new space is truly something special. At just over 1,000sq meters, Snap Fitness Meadowbank is a club of the future. It boasts recovery zones, massage beds, infrared saunas, a Pilates studio, and a spacious group fitness area! We are sure this will be a club to watch!?
