There’s something fishy going on the new menu at KeyWest Bar & Grill on Bournemouth Pier!
KeyWest Bar & Grill has launched a new menu and has added lots of fresh fish options to the extensive selection of delicious dishes.
‘Fresh’ and ‘local’ is the theme to the menu, which includes several fish dishes and fish salads, tempting ‘sharing’ platters, main course meat dishes, burgers, baguettes & ciabattas, a choice of lite snacks and a very varied daily ‘chefs special’.
The resident chef advised, “We are really proud of the menu that we have created…it’s unique and varied and we’ve made a big effort to use local suppliers and fresh produce. We were particularly keen to introduce new fish dishes bearing in mind our stunning location looking out to sea. Our new fish dishes include Moules Marinier, Spiced Fish Noodles, Grilled Tuna Steak with Mediterranean Butter, Grilled Mackerel Fillet, Fresh Fish & Prawn Balti fishcakes and of course not forgetting the traditional seaside Fish & Chips, in home-made batter, of course!
“Our specials can vary day to day, depending on the catch of the day and what might be in season. All our dishes are home-made on site at KeyWest, including our childrens’ chunky fish fingers, burgers, scones and brochette.
We’re getting a great response to our dishes, not just from holiday makers but locals too who seem to be impressed by the variety of menus.
“We have also introduced our KeyWest Afternoon tea which has a twist in that the sandwich fillings are served on Brioche open sandwiches, combined with homemade scones and southern clotted cream fingers.
