We've all heard this saying before. Often it's broken up and used like two sides of an argument.?

The reality is they are both equally wrong and right.?

Just because someone is part of a team it doesn't mean their sense of?'me' should be forgot. This is often what business owners forget when trying to run a successful team, especially as a business grows. It becomes easier to look at the overall collective performance and forget the individuals that make it up.?

The thing is, running a strong successful team is just as much about the collective performance as it is about the individuals that make it up.

No matter what size a business is your team is made up of individuals and it's important not to foget that.

Yes, overall team performance is super important but it's essential not to let that overshadow the performances of the individuals that make up that team.?

By ignoring individual performances & personalities small issues can soon become big ones. One persons negativity can quickly impact an entire group. Having an understanding of personality traits will help you to better communicate with each of employees members, keeping up with performance reviews allows you to better monitor your teams individual performances and in doing so creates a regular chance for open communcation.?

Implementing these small processes into your business will create a big impact. It will not only enable you to better manage your team but it will also make your team valued push those individual & team performances through the roof.?
