I want to start by discussing a topical word, "Ghosting."
As a recruiter, I get ghosted often and receive many “No’s” from potential clients and candidates. I also manage to push deals and conversations to the finish line, but sometimes, they fall apart for reasons out of my control.
These rejections are how I overcome the fear of rejection and keep moving forward—on to the next opportunity, the next Client, and the next closed deal.
The next YES. Shake it off and keep going forward, or you will die lamenting over NOs that you can't win back!
This is what Tenacity is. Harness it!
