Hey Squad! It's been a busy end of Summer here at POZ X with NHP Talent Group , Probably Nothing Talent (web3 recruiting) and the big show, #thePOZcast . Some TL:DR on the business and show:

NHP Talent Group: Aka all things web2 advertising, marketing and media jobs: Overall the market has been relatively flat over the last 3 months we fear mongering about the oncoming recession. Some of my clients have pulled back/frozen hiring and others continue to build as they are bullish and well funded. The job market has shifted a bit more from over indexing on the candidate advantage but still a good amount of open roles for those interested.

Probably Nothing Talent: All things #web3 hiring. We are very much in a Bear market and the real bears are bullishly building! Those are the brands & projects we work with and IMO, the dam is about to open on great roles. I think the majority of these roles will be in the "2.5" type- web3 roles that can be done w/ web2 skills, attitude and an enthusiasm for web3 and can be trained/upskilled.

Personal: Just got back from an incredible weekend in Pittsburgh where I had the honor and privilege to join 116 other change makers from around the country for the latest edition of Breakout (check them out).

?? For 3 days, we took to the streets of the 'Burgh, with an experiential series of programming led by local change makers to celebrate and explore pioneering innovation, arts, food and equitable change- through the lens of its community leaders.

My key takeaways:

- Be a "Solutionist" in all aspects of your life

- Redefine "Professionalism" (gonna do a post on this soon)

- Creative empowerment- how do we amplify our strengths

- Learning IRL community in its deepest form

- Real "active listening"

- NLS- Never lose sight aka Next Level Shit

- You can not speed up trust- it takes time (gonna do a post on this soon)

- Let the Chips Fly! Go for yours, hard and don't stop.

- Run INTO strength - that is how you really challenge yourself and grow
