Hey all! Sorry for such a gap between newsletters, life and work has been crazy busy. And in my line of work busy = making $! So enough with canceling the words "busy" and "hustle". Put them in the right context before you try to say they are bad (like hustle porn, which I agree, is bad). Anyway...

Some amazing things happening at NHP Talent Group and #thePOZcast. Starting with the recruitment side, Kevin Logan Jr and I finally met up in person down in South Florida at the end of January. We had an incredible few days of "team-building", networking, and mapping out the future for NHP and a new venture that we will be announcing shortly. CAN'T WAIT!

We are diving head-first into the Web3 space and have so much insight and observations coming your way here, specifically as it comes to talent & recruitment!

Onto #thePOZcast. Really exciting as we get closer to E200, dropping on 3/18 with my man Emeka Nnaka. His is a story of resilience and positivity in the face of a life-altering injury. This episode will encompass everything that the show is all about. Keep an eye out for that!

This show turned out to be one of the most emotional shows for me as Dave unpacked not just his journey into the NHL, but what he went through and overcame after a terrible injury. Dave opened up and shared the most intimate parts of his story and this is certainly a must listen-to episode, regardless if you are a hockey fan or not.

I met Legend in early October 2021 in Newark, NJ, through an event with Breakout. Our group joined a meet-up at his co-working space for a networking mixer. I saw him just sitting there and not sure what it was but I said, “Im gonna go sit down next to this dude and listen to his story.” And I am glad we did because what I heard, inspired me so much that I had to have him on the show. Just wish I was recording that first conversation. I love to showcase others’ stories and this one is exceptional.
