Facilitating a shared language and driving stakeholder engagement and alignment across the LegalTech ecosystem is what we stand for at The Law of Tech. In addition to this driving purpose, we care about putting our actions where our mouth is.?

This month, we have had the pleasure of welcoming two South African superstars: Liezl van Zyl , Information Designer and Director at Hey Plain Jane , together with Chris Williams , experienced innovation consultant and community builder, to discuss the core ingredients for legal innovation through LegalTech and legal design.?

Titled “A legal, tech & design perspective on building user-centric solutions”, in this discussion we push over the existing (or presumptive) frictions to better understand why the design and tech industries seem still too far behind from each other, considering the nowadays exponential growth rate of (legal) innovation.

This month, we are also excited to launch a new concept of our own: The Law of Tech Book Club series, where we invite authors to discuss their work, insights, and key takeaways in an accessible, interactive, and practical way with professionals and enthusiasts across legal and tech.?
