Kambi Group to cancel its repurchased shares
Kambi Group has announced the completion of the cancellation of 1,374,678 ordinary B shares.
The shares were acquired under previous share buyback programmes and the cancellation of the shares is in line with the intention to improve Kambi’s capital position. The cancellation was approved by shareholders at Kambi’s extraordinary general meeting on 18 November 2024.

Brazil’s gambling regulator to block 1,800 domains
The Brazilian gambling regulator, SPA, has requested the national telecoms agency, Anatel, to block 1,800 domains allegedly offering online gambling without a federal license.
This marks the third such request since September, bringing the total number of sites targeted for blocking to 5,200.

Online slots will be limited to £5 per spin
The amount of money people can place on a single online slots bet will be restricted as part of a wider government overhaul to tackle gambling addiction.
A £5 per spin limit will apply to all adults aged 25 and over with a £2 per spin limit for 18 to 24-year-olds.
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is also set to increase taxes on gambling companies to fund addiction treatment.

London calls for restrictions on gambling advertising in Northern Ireland
The All-Party Group on Reducing Gambling Harm said legislation was lagging behind that in the rest of the UK and Ireland.
The UK Government has been urged to restrict gambling advertising in Northern Ireland. Members of the Stormont Assembly All-Party Group on Reducing Gambling Harm have written to Lisa Nandy, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, asking her to take action to protect people in the region.
