Theatre (rich and raw)

I have just been helping with Front of House at the consistently amazing Sherborne Studio Theatre (Dorset, UK): ?https://www.aps-sherborne.co.uk/. A ransacked house, two tetchy couples, money problems, and a burglar with a philosophical frame of mind. Theft by Eric Chappell was another tour-de-force by the Amateur Players of Sherborne.

As a member of the audience a few days before, I was on the edge of my seat with Olive Boy (https://www.discoverfrome.co.uk/event/the-olive-boy/) at Frome’s Merlin Theatre (Somerset, UK). Visceral, provocative, and disturbing, this handled with panache the themes of grief, bereavement, and growing up with raw energy and hard language. ?
