The Theatre Ball by SRT - celebrating the dreamers in our lives

Who are we if we dare to DREAM and what can we accomplish together?

Friends and supporters gathered at DREAM - The Theatre Ball by SRT - our first fundraising ball in four years due to the pandemic. The Theatre Ball which marked the start of our 30th?anniversary, was a resounding success raising funds to help support cost of operation, expansion of our capacity building efforts and further development of our community outreach programmes.?

We are grateful for Marina Bay Sand's continued support and to the team at ArtsScience Musem who gracefully allowed us to transform the museum into a wonderful, dreamy event space - A Night at the Museum with a twist.

SRT's commitment to producing and presenting outstanding theatre, investing in talent and engaging our community through our arts education programmes?aligns with the vision of the National Arts Council (NAC) to establish Singapore as a valuable collaborative partner for arts and culture in the region.?The role of the arts contributes significant economic value and enhances the quality of life in the city.?Says Edwin Tong, Minister for MCCY,?"The arts can provide a strong common denominator and help to strengthen the Singapore collective identity".

In order to fulfil this vision, SRT relies on support from our patrons and partners through our Friends of SRT programme, corporate partnerships, and events such as the Theatre Ball. It is always inspiring and humbling to feel the shared love and passion from our supporters and donors at an event that celebrates theatre and not only fundraise for our work but brings likeminded thespians together to dream.
