That's a wrap!

It’s been six months since we were last able to say those few small words that collectively mean so much to all those of us who work in the live events industry.

However, last week included three busy days of testing and distributing Cruise Lines International Association's Port & Destination Summit Online to over 300 delegates from 37 countries on-air - working in tandem with the rehearsals and filming of a professionally produced conference, which was live-streamed via our virtual event portal from the legendary John Henry’s Recording Studio in London.

It was immensely rewarding to deliver a successful event to an engaged and enthusiastic global audience for the first time since March.

It was also wonderful to see some of the Dellar Davies team back in the office masterminding the virtual event portal, whilst listening to the familiar voices of our production partners on crew comms: Paul Hutton, Gareth Butler, John Rhodes, Matt Dando, Liz McGuffie and all the Studio team – thank you! Completing the familiar Dellar Davies event team line-up, Arif Gardner was there to capture all the images from our first post-Covid-lockdown event.

A huge thank you to Bo Nylandsted Larsen and Andrew Walker for putting their faith in Dellar Davies to deliver their first large-scale virtual event, and to Natalie-Hall Gearing for managing the logistics. And a special mention for their content producer, Miranda van Bruck, who managed to keep us all on track via remote video link from France due to the UK’s quarantine regulations.
