THAT'S A WRAP!

Buried under mountains of colourful wrapping paper and surrounded by empty mince pie cases, our Mill Street and Make Good Grow elves are officially all wrapped out.?

Last week, over 60 gifts were wrapped for The Friendship Project , and 50 empty shoeboxes were wrapped and prepped, ready for this week's Christmas shoebox appeal for the Helping Hands Community Project .

Despite still being in November, we're well and truly on the countdown to Christmas, and we have many festive plans for you to get involved in...

We're set to transform the space into a Mill Street grotto in time for the upcoming member Christmas party next week.

Mill Street member Alice Warn from Alice The Business Coach is hosting a Branding and Marketing Workshop with Laura Morris Digital in the new year.

This workshop has been created especially for small business owners who are ready to refocus and energize their branding and marketing in 2024. We will support participants with the necessary tools to find confidence in their business branding, create a robust marketing plan and offer valuable insights on effectively navigating Instagram and simplifying SEO challenges.

A new fund launched by Innovate UK is available to C&W businesses, offering fully-funded grants of up to 100k for innovative projects that utilise the following:

- Digital media Mixed media

?- Virtual production

?- Game engine & 3D environments

- Motion capture

NO SHOEBOX? NO PROBLEM!

GIVE A HELPING HAND THIS FRIDAY FROM 3 PM

Join us this Friday from 3 pm, for mince pies and mulled wine in exchange for your shoe box donations.?

Come with a wrapped and filled shoebox, or better yet, we have some empty shoe boxes ready for you.

?What to include:?

*Hygiene products: Toothbrush/toothpaste, hair brush/comb, soap, flannel, deodorant (no aerosols), sanitary products

*Warm clothing: hats, scarves, gloves, socks, hand warmers, clothing vouchers?

*Food: Chocolate and sweets, coffee and meal vouchers (can be purchased from Greggs, Costa etc.?

*Extras: Pocket games, notepad/pen?

For those with a shoebox, please keep the lid separate and attach an elastic band and a label with either Male or Female.

We’ll fill the passion wagon and take all donations over to Helping Hands!?

PASSIONEER CALL TO ARMS?

We're in need of the following support from any of our Passioneers eager to get involved:?

Evergreen School, Warwick , is looking for Sponsorship for 12 football kits for their 6th Form students.?

Helping Hands Community Project is short on people to manage and run their soup kitchen between Christmas and New Year, so any volunteers who are able to offer their support are welcome.?

You Can Flourish is in need of 5 volunteers to help with this year’s Round Table Santas Sleigh at Warwick Gates on 15th Dec between 6-9 pm. Volunteers will be collecting donations and giving out sweets with the sleigh as they go around the estate.?
