WHEN YOUR DESIRE AND IMAGINATION ARE IN CONFLICT, YOUR IMAGINATION INVARIABLY GAINS THE DAY!

This statement is the law of reverse effort. Understand this with an example, suppose you were asked to walk along a narrow plank that was resting on the floor. You would do it easily, without questioning but if the same plank is placed twenty feet above the ground, would you walk it? Could you??

Probably not because your desire to walk over the plank would come into conflict with your imagination. You may imagine yourself falling from the height. You would want to walk over it but the fear of falling wouldn't let you do so.?

READ THIS CLEAR. The more effort you put into conquering your imagination or suppressing it, the greater strength is given to the dominant idea of falling.

When you want something to happen, you usually put mental force and call it willpower or manifestation but deep inside, it creates opposite effect. The act of imagining opposite creates actual opposition. If your attention is focused on obstacles to obtaining what you desire, it is no longer concentrating on the means to obtain your desire.?

When there is no longer quarrel between the different parts of your mind, then your thoughts are answered. A great many people solve all their dilemmas and problems by the play of their controlled and directed imagination. They know that whatever they imagine and feel as true will and must come to pass.?

Imagination is your most powerful faculty. Imagine what is lovely and of good report. You are what you imagine yourself to be.
