"That's the stupidest idea I've ever heard."

"That's the stupidest idea I've ever heard."

We've all been there…

Sitting on an idea, a skill, or years of experience, while that little voice in our head (or sometimes a louder voice across the table) tells us it's not worth sharing.

Let me tell you something from experience:

That "stupid idea" you're holding onto right now? It could be worth millions.

Not just in money, though that's pretty cool too, but in impact, lives changed, and dreams fulfilled.

You're probably thinking, "Yeah, but my thing isn't special enough."

Stop right there.

That's exactly what Alessia thought about teaching ballet online. "Nobody's going to learn ballet from their computer," she said.

Now, her online ballet school has generated over $1 million in revenue, changing countless lives by helping adults fulfil their childhood dreams of dancing.

And she did this all on Kajabi.

See, we're all sitting on a goldmine of knowledge.

- That thing you do without thinking?

- The skill that's become second nature?

That's pure gold to someone else.

Your "ordinary" is someone else's extraordinary.

Your expertise doesn't have to be rocket science; it just needs to solve a problem, fulfil a dream, or make life a bit better for someone else.

Think about it:

  • Your knack for organising chaos
  • Those Excel hacks you use every day
  • The recipes you learned from your Italian nan
  • The way you taught yourself to speak in public
  • How you manage to stay fit with three kids under five

Someone out there needs exactly what you know.

So how do we turn this expertise into something real? Into a course or membership that actually helps people?

First off, forget perfect. Perfect is the enemy of doing.

Start small. Start messy. Start anywhere.

Get your knowledge out of your head:

  • Grab your phone, hit record, and talk through what you know
  • Write down the questions people always ask you
  • List the mistakes you've made and learned from
  • Think about the shortcuts you've discovered
  • Then turn that into something structured

A course. A membership community. A space where people can learn, grow, and support each other.

You might be thinking, "But isn't the market saturated?"

Nope. Because there's only one you:

  • Your voice
  • Your experience
  • Your way of explaining things

That's what makes it special.

Remember Alessia's "stupid idea"?

One million dollars in revenue because she dared to try.

Countless lives changed because she ignored that voice saying it wouldn't work.

What's your "stupid idea"?

Go on. Be brave. Share what you know.

Someone out there is waiting for exactly what you have to teach.

Your move.

Andy, what a great example. I've come across some real niche ideas. It's amazing what some people come up with. But if there's a market, there's a leader.

I love how you pointed out that even a busy mom with three kids under 5 can turn her skills into something great! Sometimes, all we need is to organize our thoughts and start by writing down what people usually ask us. In my case, a quick brainstorm can turn those ideas into something real :)
