On the commute to work, I bumped into one of my colleagues. The wonderful Ricky Chopra and we were talking about a number of different topics and he recommended that I watch the Horizon episode ‘The Pleasure of finding things out' with Richard Feynman. It really is a wonderful 45 minutes of TV. Nothing but him being asked questions and explaining how he thinks how he does.
I was already a fan , following his wonderful description about magnetism, which I recommend you looking up. What I loved about the interview was that he often didn’t investigate problems on the basis that he thought the solution would be useful, but ones which he simply found interesting.
