Thanksgiving Thoughts: The Power of Gratitude


On this Thanksgiving week, a quick reminder to think about what you are grateful for.


Gratefulness can be tricky when you are going through a rough patch.

Hope is hard to keep believing in when you are challenged by something highly unexpected.

Certainty about hitting your goals can be shaken when you didn’t land the client you thought would sign up with you.


But…


Life experiences have shown me again and again and again that any challenge is an opportunity for growth.


It might be the missing piece to a bigger puzzle or the catalyst for a significant breakthrough.

It might be the missing link to accessing a higher level of self.

Or, it might lead you to higher resilience and antifragility and allow you to welcome the greatest opportunity that you ever experienced.

There are interesting advantages to expressing gratitude.

According to UCLA Health, practicing gratitude may:

  • Reduce depression
  • Lessen anxiety
  • Support heart health
  • Relieve stress
  • Improve sleep.


Gratitude is worth practicing. Daily.
