First, please read Thanksgiving Meditation - Fire and Thanksgiving Meditation - Dance.
My last thank you note goes to my readers, especially those who are participating in the Colors series.
This year, I started publishing a new series on LinkedIn, Facebook, and my blog called Colors to explore a topic that I care deeply about: the Renaissance Mind. I am just as passionate about entrepreneurship, technology, and business, as I am about Art and Culture. In this series, I typically publish a piece of Art – a painting of mine – and I request you to spend a minute or two deeply meditating on it. I urge you to watch your feelings, thoughts, reactions to the piece, and write what comes to you, what thoughts it triggers, in the dialog area.
This ritual is enabling me to connect with my readership through a different API than my normal one: business and technology writings.
It has also created a more systematic process for me to engage with my own Art.
I studied painting with a renowned Indian artist, Ramananda Bandopadhyay, from the age of ten till 18, when I had departed for college. I did not paint in college at all. In subsequent years, I painted very little. I started painting again about 6 years ago, and now I have found my stride again.
I am grateful to be able to keep my own Renaissance Mind alive and vibrant, and also to have been able to find ways of interfacing with others who have similar multidimensional ways of being in their own skins.
If you would like to follow Colors, you can find the series on our blog, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
