Thanks To Those Who Supported

On behalf of my wife Mary and me, we want to thank the more that 130 individuals who donated to the September effort to raise money and awareness to attack Prostate Cancer.

As you all helped support, we raised over $67,000 to support Dr Ken Pienta (https://secure.jhu.edu/form/stevensprostatecancer) and his incredible team at Johns Hopkins.

By pure coincidence, I was speaking to a childhood friend of mine today who is dealing with exactly what I am...he is 8 days into 36 days of radiation at a hospital in NYC and we were remarking about how little focus there is on killing this disease in media and in public. This is the # 1 killer of men, this disease that I will battle the rest of my life, and something that gets to 1 in every six men in this country. It needs a bigger voice and louder voices.

We feel great about this first year and are gratified by the outreach and generosity from each of you. I hope you will consider supporting this again next year when we return as we work to grow this effort and support the medical experts like Dr Ken Pienta who have passion and focus to attack this and help men across the country live. 

I do want you to know how thankful we are for each of you. This was special, personal, and your support said so much. Your caring matters.
