Thanks LinkedIn - And All Of You

They say timing is everything.

Whether it be by hard preparation work - lined with design - or - via a case of pure serendipity - at its finest.

My timing of utilizing the many "Golden Nuggets" that LinkedIn has to offer to members in 2022 for new and existing businesses - is, well - - - off.

Way off.

Eons off.

If the development of todays LinkedIn format had occurred when I was a neophyte OSHA / Food Safety consultant 22 years ago (2000), I'd wait to collect my Social Security check when I turned 70.

I've had zero contact with anyone from LinkedIn regarding this blog.

I'm not looking - anyways.

But since I was home due to ill health, I began posting blogs back on Jan. 12, 2022.

191 Blogs - including this one - 19 blogs a month through today's blog.

LinkedIn "Followers" for me has increased from 20,000 "Followers" to the lip of the brim of 28,000 "LinkedIn Followers" in that same approximate time span - and counting.

Since Jan. 12th of 2022, I've been contacted for "Contracted work" involving GFSI, FDA / HACCP, SSOP systems, OSHA, and Human Resources. I took but one offer and enjoyed it beyond words. I needed that particular job.

Made me feel like I was back in the saddle again.

And I am.

But what I have appreciated and valued the most concerning LinkedIn - by far - is making contacts with people from all over the world - like you.

Smart, intelligent, and creative people who have helped me improve my health, unknown to them at the time - - - by their sheer power of positive thinking - sent my humble way by discussing work and life in general.

But I was surprised to find that I've assisted selected people, through posting LinkedIn blogs and answering LinkedIn related emails; their aspirations to grow and spread the good word that there is nothing that one cannot accomplish, if --- one is willing to scratch / crawl / seek into the deep domains of the www and neighborhood libraries - for answers to their questions for - - - themselves.

Helping others, for me - is well - - - - well ......................., it's better than silver and gold.

I wish I was going on 26 years of age - not Route 66 - in 2022.

I already envy the science-based innovations there shall be forthcoming in the Food, OSHA and the humane handling of feed animals / bird sectors in the coming decades.

I'm trying how to learn how to retire.

However, most of you are not.

Advise from me?

Recall will you, when Dwight D. Eisenhower was re-elected President for a 2nd term way, way back in 1956 --- my year of birth.

1956 was a very busy year.

Every single year are busy and learning years, even Covid ones - - - spiritually or otherwise.

You were born to adapt and to embrace change(s).

And you were created to help and assist others - at least - once-a-day - -24/7/365 - - for life.

The dividends one receives when helping others - from your heart - despite the medium, multiplies like bacteria does when exposed to an enriched environment.

Trust me.

Exponentially.

LinkedIn is an enriching environment to grow and embrace change and to help, inform, and encourage your fellow Homo sapiens world-wide.

Because one day - you may too - be highlighting the early 2000s, like others and myself have today - decades from today - and beyond.
