Thanks. HELIO passes 1,000 backers.

1/3 of the way in the HELIO light has 1,000 backers on Kickstarter. Each backer we get in this early stage means more lights among friends and more lights we can give away.

For those of you who missed it the first round, HELIO is a highly efficient source of light and power. I'm volunteering on the project with Makers4Good which has committed 100% of profits from HELIO will be used to provide light and power to those with limited access to electricity.

HELIO is based on a simple idea: to design a solar light and power source we could use for adventures and emergencies. It's also a quality lighting, solar, & power product people in need can use daily.

In my world it is great for camping, around the house, and to be always ready for emergencies. That's just me. Others will find it useful for where their adventures take them.

For people in need HELIO will provide off the grid light and allow people to charge mobile devices so they can stay connected.

Each design and pre-production iteration improves HELIO as we continue to refine the prototypes and get ready for production. A few prototype iterations ago HELIO got good. It keeps getting better. I like it.
