#ThankfulThursday: We are resilient and strong!

Happy Friday colleagues, friends, and clients,

We hope our new #ThankfulThursday reflection finds you and yours well.

Today, we reflect and pray for all who are grappling with the health and economic impacts of the pandemic.  

Our local charities and nonprofits are stretched, yet continue helping those with increased need -- all while facing decreased revenues. 

Together, we are enduring and persevering; for we are resilient, caring and strong.

Marile and I are thankful and applaud all the hard work, especially of The Miami Foundation for hosting #GiveMiamiDays, benefiting hundreds of charities in our community.

We truly thank Liana Guilarte, Publisher of Modern Luxury Miami for shining a bright light on caregivers, charities and philanthropists in their November 2020 Issue.

Thursday, 11.19.20 is officially #GiveMiamiDay2020.

Since 2011, The Miami Foundation has hosted a monumental day of giving, benefiting hundreds of charities in our community.

As a past Chairman & Member of The Miami Foundation, I can personally attest to the direct impact your donations will have in our Miami-Dade community.

Last year, 39,922 donors raised more than $14.4 million for 834 local nonprofits.

Marile and I will be joining GiveMiamiDay2020, as our Lopez Family Foundation supports, promotes and donates to our charities of choice.

We hope you will too!
