Thankful Thursday BC wide call with Regional President Martin Thibodeau

Today's Thankful Thursday call with Martin Thibodeau was a great way to start our day to a short week. Martin addressed and capitalized the safety of each other during recent news on COVID. This transitioned to really utilizing our digital tools available to us. It was a humbling experience to be a panelist today along with Shanya Kaluaratchi, Jessica Booth, Vanessa Do and Taylor Orton. We each had the opportunity to speak on the call with BC to provide our experience with leveraging our partners through our Digital Channels.

"My name is Jennie-lyn, I have been with RBC for 6 Years, currently a Banking Advisor out of Garden City in North Richmond Community. Such an honour to be on the call and be recognized for #showmeoneRBC post from Martin. I shared a video I edited on what would be a perfect virtual introduction to our partners. It was an initiative by Manager of MS Helen Young  and Manager IRP Brian Bowen which they called RVP = Richmond Virtual Partnering. They held training sessions on how to continue the positive momentum in our region. Specifically around leveraging our partners through virtual engagements. A best practice that I do is when I discover a client is needing advice which involves our partners, I immediately lead with digital. Another best practice I do is booking a touch base meeting with an MS every 2 weeks, where they provide me support and coaching on how to I can leverage my previous contacts through joint virtual meetings. One of the challenges I faced were client’s feeling unsure and uncertain that they had to turn on their camera or a fear of the "new" normal, and we listened and led with empathy. Rest assured Client’s feedback was always positive on how no matter where we were, we’re always available for them anytime and anywhere to win as oneRBC and walk out working."

With a shy of 900 attendees, I was incredibly proud to be representing Garden City & Alderbridge Branch in North Richmond Community. Big congratulations go out to Vanessa, Jessica and Taylor to speak in a round table with Katherine Dudtschak to represent  BC!
