Thankful and excited - 2021

Thankful. If to summarize 2020 in one word that would be it. I’m thankful that I’m alive and healthy. Anything else is a pure bonus. This is the thought I’ve started every day with for the past 5 years or so. Thankfulness is truly a magical superpower that enables you to harness positive energy, momentum and focus. I love it!

For 2021 I’m excited about many things. Five bigger projects that I’ve decided to take on are:

1) Developing a new story & vision for society - I’ve yet to hear a politician who has a comprehensive story for what a sustainable Society 2.0 will look like. I’m intending to develop this together with many people. Let me know if you know of any great politician we should get inspired by.

2) Developing a “vaccine” for mental illness among young people all over the world - How amazing would that be? More to come on that topic, we’re kicking it off mid January.

3) Developing a digital assistant for lifelong learning - As the world keeps changing, learning is the only long-term sustainable strategy, so this will be super important. We need a learning revolution.

4) Measuring the world in a more sensible way - This involves both developing better KPIs for measuring societal progress as well as educating people on how to read and use data responsibly to make for better and more data-driven discussions and conversations.

5) Writing my next book - Working title “Life Engineering”. Thank you to my publisher for the support.

So with thankfulness and excitement, let’s take on 2021. Hopefully it will be the best year ever.
