Thankful

Be thankful for the little things. Be tireless in your efforts to reach your goals. Be proud of your accomplishments, yet humble to know you are always learning. Get to - not Got to.

I am often reminded of the above. Life is such an interesting journey. We have highs and lows, and through it all - we lose sight of why we do it. I have often been told that I am a "driven" person. but most don't realize that I am driven, but driven towards making myself better, and those around me better.

I am thankful that I am alive, and healthy (well sort of). I have a sense of humor and humility, and yet, I find comfort in creating situations where I can debate, and find humor to point out funny situations.

I have been married for over 34 years, and still find every moment I spend with my wife an adventure. I am lucky - that I believe she still finds that in me. I have kids that I respect, grandkid(s) that I am excited to see grow and become a part of society.

I have had a wonderful career - one that I still learn from every day - in an industry that I love. I have had the ability to learn and become friends with all sorts of different people, from all different countries and different backgrounds.

Be thankful this year and every day. Remember that our journey is made up of several steps and little things that become big things. What you do today, who you talk to, the way in which you talk with each other - all add up. Remember you GET TO do all of this, and that some don't - Thank you!!
