Thankful For It All
An elderly Black man said a prayer that included giving thanks for his illness.
After he finished praying, someone criticized him for thanking God for his illness. He explained that he was thankful for his illness because he was still standing in spite of it; and he was an inspiration to other people struggling with the same illness.
It is easy to be thankful for the good times in your life.
It is more challenging to be thankful for it all.
The good, bad and ugly times in your life.
It is possible that the worst times of your life created the biggest breakthroughs of your life.
Your Gratitude List could turn into a Gratitude Book if you counted all of your blessings, including all of the times everything meant for your harm actually worked out for your good.
