Thank You Veterans!
I've carried this talisman in my pocket every day for nearly 10 years now. It was given to me at a particularly difficult time in my life by my dear friend, cousin, and Veteran Kevin Jones. It not only helped me overcome dark moments in my life, but it serves as a constant reminder of the dedication of so many Veterans to ensure our freedom and safety. There aren't enough thank-yous to express my appreciation.
It also reminds me that there are many other civilian soldiers who have been fighting a war against cybercriminals to ensure the safety of our digital way of life. These men and women don't wear a uniform and their weapons are keyboards and code. I thank them equally for the safety they have granted us in this computer era.
Please take a moment today and every day to seek out someone you know is a Veteran and thank them for the sacrifices they made and continue to make for us all. And if you see a person you don't know wearing a Veteran hat or in a car with a Veteran plate, please go the extra mile to thank them too. It's only because they stood up to defend our country and freedom that we enjoy all that we have today. Happy Veterans Day! #thankavet #veteransday2022
