Thank You

Thank You

It’s that time of year when everyone is giving thanks for everything they’re grateful for, this article is no exception. There are countless people that have gotten me to where I am today, while I cannot name every single person here, be sure that I have expressed my thanks countless times and will continue to do so.

The first person I am most grateful for in my life is my brother, Ryan Warner . You all know this from previous articles, but he is my absolute best friend in this world and without him, I simply do not know where I would be. He is also the person that ultimately got me into this amazing career of tech sales and put me on a path to succeed that was a dream, before making this move. Prior to this career, I was not able to grow and be the person I am today – I was not in a position that would allow it nor allow me to express myself as I do every single day here at Nexum, could not be more thankful.

This takes me to my second person to thank, though, as you will see – it’s a company/family that I’m thanking. Nexum, Inc. has embraced me as a part of their family more than any place ever has. With the leadership of David J. Lesser and Nathan Eng – they have allowed me to be myself and build my business my way. I am thankful to have as many brilliant engineers supporting my work than most could dream of, I am thankful to the administrative team that supports my work from “behind the scenes” – without each and every person in this family, my career would not be where it is now. With the support of the Nexum brand – this is only the beginning folks!

“Don’t let the sun go down without saying thank you to someone, and without admitting to yourself that absolutely no one gets this far alone.” – Stephen King

Next, I can’t go without thanking Tom Alaimo . He has been my mentor since day one in the sales career and while he’s younger than me (and has more hair), he carries himself as a professional and is dedicated to helping salespeople thrive in their roles. Tom truly cares about the success of others as much, if not more, than his own. It’s rare to find, especially in this selfish career of sales – but Tom is a gem, and I am extremely lucky to have as a mentor, but most importantly a lifelong friend.

Because of how vast our partner network is, it would not be fair (or enjoyable reading) to list every person whose made an impact on my Nexum life. But to put a blanket Thanks to all out there, without the support of our partners, I would not have a job nor be successful as I am now. They support our engineers by producing the best-of-breed products, they support me in my prospecting/outreach, and many have become friends that I cherish. I deeply appreciate each and every one.

Lastly, I cannot write a thank-you article without thanking my mother, Lori Steiner . Mama J (as we call her) raised my brother and myself as a single mom while working full time. While we could not go on exotic vacations or “go away” for Spring Break – we were never not loved or supported. She did anything/everything she could to ensure we had a fulfilling childhood and she crushed that. My work ethic stems from watching her as a single-mom working full time, feed us every night, take us to any wrestling tournament we desired and everything in between – I would not be here without you.

Thank you to everyone reading this as well, this marks the thirteenth month of continual content from me and while I really enjoy sharing my thoughts with everyone, I also enjoy seeing the interaction and knowing I am giving back to a world that has given me so much.
