It's been 3 weeks since we held the 17th Annual Golf Classic for the cure. There were many changes due to COVID-19 but we heard over and over that the golfers were grateful that we could hold the event. It was the first time that many were able to get out and socialize and it was a great reminder that we can do great work together.
Our day-to-day lives may have changed, but unfortunately the fight to end breast cancer is not over. 66 sponsors, 100 golfers, 10 volunteers, and the Jefferson Country Club team came together on May 18th to raise awareness and support a cure for breast cancer. Together we raised $19,124 at the 17th Annual Golf Classic for the Cure for Susan G Komen 3 Day. With your support, the Bouncin' Buckeyes team has raised over $504k for Susan G Komen 3 Day for the Cure since we began walking in 2005. Let's read that sentence again. That's incredible! What started as a 60 mile walk to celebrate my Mom becoming a breast cancer survivor, has turned into locking arms with supporters like you and raising life saving money. Thank you from the bottom or our hearts!!
While our November 2020 60 mile walk has been cancelled please know that the minute our donation sites receive a donation that money is deposited into Komens' accounts and supports research, action, care, and community to those with breast cancer. We are each still raising money and will raise money for the 2021 walk in San Diego for the next year and a half. Anyone wishing to donate can go to the3day.org and search our team Bouncin' Buckeyes and choose any of our teammates to donate to our fundraising.

Registration will open Feb 2021 for the 18th Annual Golf Classic held May 17, 2021. Please consider us as you designate money so that you can continue to support our mission in 2021. www.bouncinbuckeyes.org
